Background

UNICEF Moldova is hiring a Health & Nutrition Officer, NO-B (TA) to support the Programme actions, including establishment of essential healthcare and nutrition services that have been identified within preparedness, emergency response and early recovery.

Qualifications and experience:

• University degree in Public Health and Nutrition, Child Development, Water Sanitation, Public Administration, Social Policy, Social Development, Community Development, or other relevant disciplines.
• Two years of professional work experience in planning, programming, implementation monitoring and evaluation of health programmes. Professional work experience in a programme management function or a technical expert capacity in child survival & health care or Public Health.
• Field work experience is an asset.
• Experience of working in emergency is a strong advantage.
• Fluency in Romanian and working knowledge of English is required. Knowledge of Russian or another official UN language is considered a strong asset.
