UN in Moldova, led by the Office of the Resident Coordinator (UNRCO) in cooperation with UNDP, OHCHR, UNFPA, and UNICEF, is looking for a company or consortium of companies to carry out data collection for the SCORE Index on the left bank of the Nistru river. The exercise is meant to understand social tensions, citizens’ views and opinions, intergroup relations, aspirations on the future of Moldova, and other key psychosocial and socioeconomic factors. A similar exercise will be carried on the right bank of the Nistru river by OTI in Moldova an USAID led programme. The two campaigns from both banks will provide the development community and donor institutions with insights on key social indicators which shall be useful when deciding on the activities and programmes to be developed on both banks of the Nistru river. The design and calibration of the SCORE survey will be led by SeeD, the collection of data by the national partner(s) to be selected through this open competition, the analysis of data by SeeD, and the interpretation and socialization of data to influence policy and programming will be led by diverse stakeholders in Moldova.
