United Nations Development Programme, through its Greening the future, advancing rights and stability Moldova Project hereby invites prospective proposers to submit a proposal to conduct a pre-feasibility study on the development of charging station infrastructure for electric vehicles for public and private transportation in the Republic of Moldova In support of Moldova’s commitments to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, improve air quality and align the climate policies of the Republic of Moldova with European climate neutrality targets, electrification of transport is an essential component of decarbonization efforts, UNDP Moldova is commissioning the development of a Pre-feasibility study on the development of charging station infrastructure for electric vehicles for public and private transportation in the Republic of Moldova is essential to understand the real demand for developing the infrastructure for e-vehicles charging, the capacity of the electric grid for integrating the charging infrastructure, financing options, potential locations for chargers and socio-economic impacts. The study will underpin a coordinated, effective and equitable intervention, contributing to the development of an accessible and resilient electric mobility infrastructure in support of implementing the existing national environmental, transport and sustainable urban development policies.
