Overview:
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), in collaboration with the OPTIM Project and E-Governance Agency (EGA), through the Accelerating Digital Transformation Project in Moldova, hereby announces an Expression of Interest for selecting innovative digital ideas under Innovation Challenge Scheme 3 contest for innovation projects with impact on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Digital Transformation in Public and Private Sectors.
The project will focus on encouraging the private sector to have an active role in the Digital Transformation of Moldova.
The main objectives and areas of support of the 3rd Innovation Challenge Scheme are:
Project application documentation
Pre-application: Concept Note
In the pre-application stage, the applicants should submit only a filled out pre-defined form of Concept Note (Annex A), where the concept of the innovation project is shortly and concisely described (including the idea and the potential market), the company and the development team shortly presented. In the pre-application stage, no other documents are needed.
Full Application and Project budget
Only those Applicants who are selected from the pre-application phase will be invited to submit the Full Application and Project budget (Annex B and C). Companies should also present a standard cash-flow and investment plan with ROI calculations.
The application package shall be titled in the message subject line as “Digital Transformation Innovative Challenge 2022, [name of the applicant]”, and submitted electronically by February 16, 2022, 16:00 GMT+3 Moldova time to the following e-mail address: dorin.rojnevschi@undp.org. The application package received after the above deadline will not be considered.

This EoI does not entail any commitment on the part of UNDP, either financial or otherwise. UNDP reserve the right to accept or reject any or all EoI without incurring any obligation to inform the affected applicant/s of the grounds.
