UNICEF Moldova is looking for a company to run the study on Knowledge, Attitudes and Practices in Early Childhood Development and Care in the Republic of Moldova. Objective: The purpose of this consultancy is to assist UNICEF Moldova and Governmental counterparts in conducting a nationally representative household based KAP study to have reliable data in early childhood development and care (ECDC). This will further inform UNICEF’s advocacy efforts and its support to the Ministry of Education, and the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Labour, Social Protection and Family on promoting positive parenting practices and related aspects. The focus of this analysis will be on the key benefits of positive parenting practices and early childhood development areas. A mixed-methods approach is sought, including a desk-review of existing materials; secondary analysis of the administrative data; key informant interviews and questionnaires and comparability with previous KAP studies to track progress and develop scenarios negative trends.
