UNICEF Moldova invites interested companies to submit their proposals for provision of Translation services under Long-Term Agreements (LTAs)
Purpose of the Long-Term Arrangements UNICEF plans to enter into one or several Long-Term Agreements with qualified Contractors with relevant skills and experience which can provide professional translation services. The LTA(s) will establish standard procedures and costs for frequently ordered services to simplify and speed up the ordering process. The companies to be engaged in LTAs through a competitive process shall provide services along the LTAs duration on a fixed price basis. The LTAs signed will be made available to other UN Agencies offices in Moldova, as well as their projects and implementing partners, which will be considered as contract party by the Contractor(s) and will be offered similar treatment and contractual conditions. The LTAs will be valid for an initial period of two years with the option to be extended for three additional years, subject to a satisfactory performance evaluation and maintenance of competitive prices.
Details of how the work should be delivered
The LTA(s) will be signed for the provision of the following translation services: A. Consecutive interpretation off-line and on-line (zoom):
B. Simultaneous interpretation off-line and on-line (zoom):
C. Whispered simultaneous interpretation (chuchotage):
D. Extra hours fee, applied when the translations services are provided outside standard working hours 8:00-18:00 and when the total service time exceeds 8 hours E. High-level/individually requested translators (on-line and off-line)
F. Written translation, including basic spellchecking and proofreading:
G. Desktop publishing services, applicable for some written translations H. Translation and Interpreting Equipment Rental for off-line events and hybrid events I. Creation and sharing of Zoom link for online/hybrid events
Qualification and experience of the Contractor
Structure of the Proposal The submission, consisting of Technical and Financial Proposals, must be completed, signed and returned to UNICEF Moldova as proposed in Request for Proposals for Services (RFPS). Technical and Financial proposals must be submitted in separate emails or sealed envelopes clearly marked with the name of the Proposer and reference to RFPS number. Technical Proposal should include, but not be limited to the following information:
Financial proposal must be presented in MDL, without VAT or other taxes. Bids submitted in other currencies will be converted for evaluation purposes in MDL using UNORE (United Nations Operational Rate of Exchange) applicable on the date of the solicitation deadline. Proposers shall fill and sign the provided Price offer template. Additional discounts, tiered pricing and other pricing variations are to be detailed in the financial proposal.
