The United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UN Women) is seeking proposals under the RFP: Company/Organization to pilot inclusive employment for women with disabilities Bids should be submitted via UNGM: https://www.ungm.org/Public/Notice/297164 Application Deadline: 27 May 2026,11:59 AM (Moldova Time) UN Women Moldova invites eligible organizations and companies to submit proposals for the development and piloting of innovative livelihood programmes and inclusive employment measures tailored to the needs of women with disabilities in the Republic of Moldova. The assignment aims to design and implement an integrated, gender-responsive and disability-inclusive support model in the regions of Chisinau, Balti, Straseni, Hincesti, and Cimislia, addressing barriers that limit women with disabilities’ access to employment and economic opportunities. The selected contractor will identify and engage 60 women with disabilities who are unemployed or economically inactive and provide tailored support through employability and life skills development, vocational or entrepreneurial training, career coaching, mentoring, and pathways to decent employment or self-employment opportunities. The assignment will also include outreach activities, collaboration with employers and local stakeholders, promotion of inclusive workplace practices, and awareness raising to address discriminatory norms and improve accessibility. The initiative seeks to pilot scalable and evidence-based approaches that strengthen women’s economic empowerment, promote inclusive labour market participation, and improve coordination among public institutions, employers, civil society organizations, and disability support actors.
