In order to reach out to the larger audience and create an understanding of UN’s mission and work in the Republic of Moldova, it is essential that all key documents and meetings should be translated into several languages.
In order to support their needs, as well as the needs of their projects and partners operations, the UN Agencies in the Republic of Moldova are procuring fairly a large volume of translation services, and have decided to join efforts for entering into a Long Term Agreement with qualified translators to provide professional simultaneous, consecutive and written translation services from/into English, Russian and Romanian (vice versa).
UNDP Moldova has been selected as the Lead Agency to organize and conduct the process for identifying qualified translators on behalf of the following UN Agencies in Moldova: IMF, WHO, IOM, UNHCR, UNFPA, UNAIDS, UNICEF, UN Women, OHCHR, EBRD. UNDP Moldova, on behalf of the UN Agencies listed above, envisages entering into Long Term Agreement with qualified translators for an initial period of a three years period.
The Individual Consultants (hereinafter Translators) will be responsible for providing professional simultaneous, consecutive and written translation services from/into English and Romanian (vice versa) and from/into English and Russian (vice versa).

The translation services will be provided at UNCT unified set of fees for translation/interpretation services.
Travel
In the case of unforeseeable travel, payment of travel costs including tickets, lodging and terminal expenses should be agreed upon, between the respective business unit and Individual Consultant, prior to travel and will be reimbursed.
