The objective of the project is to build inclusive, sustainable, and resilient communities and create an enabling environment for women’s economic, social and educational empowerment. The project’s objective will be achieved through four outcomes:
The overarching strategy of the project is to build sustainable and inclusive resilient communities through empowering women to practice alternative livelihoods in the context of increased environmental degradation and vulnerabilities to extreme weather patterns. By shifting the focus from vulnerability to empowerment, adaptation responses have the potential to transform into gender equality opportunities. Such an approach would overturn gender stereotypes, compounded by social and cultural norms, and will empower women to become agents of change. Overall, the project is carried out in 4 target districts (Nisporeni, Calarasi, Basarabeasca, Leova), the Autonomous Territorial Unit (ATU) Gagauzia, the Security Zone and Transnistria region. Scope of work
The overall objective of this assignment for the National Consultant (hereinafter Consultant) is to: provide hydro-construction engineering assistance for community development projects during the entire cycle of the implementation of the projects co-financed by UNDP/Sweden project. More specifically, the Consultant will carry-out the following tasks:

Interested individual consultants must submit the following documents/information to demonstrate their qualifications:
Financial proposal
Lump sum contracts The financial proposal shall specify a total lump sum amount, and payment terms around specific and measurable (qualitative and quantitative) deliverables (i.e. whether payments fall in installments or upon completion of the entire contract). Payments are based upon output, i.e. upon delivery of the services specified in the TOR. In order to assist the requesting unit in the comparison of financial proposals, the financial proposal will include a breakdown of this lump sum amount (including fees, taxes, travel costs, accommodation costs, communication, and number of anticipated working days). Travel All envisaged travel costs must be included in the financial proposal. This includes all travel to join duty station/repatriation travel. In general, UNDP should not accept travel costs exceeding those of an economy class ticket. Should the IC wish to travel on a higher class he/she should do so using their own resources. In the case of unforeseeable travel, payment of travel costs including tickets, lodging and terminal expenses should be agreed upon, between the respective business unit and Individual Consultant, prior to travel and will be reimbursed.
