Overview:

The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) hereby announces an Expression of Interest in the framework of the "Addressing the Impact of the Energy Crisis in the Republic of Moldova" Programme that assists the Government of Moldova to enhance the country’s energy security and resilience in the face of current and future shocks and prompt the energy transition.   

Aligned with these aims, UNDP Moldova is extending an invitation to independent media representatives to actively engage in a media grant program focused on creating content on energy efficiency to enhance public awareness of the significance of adopting best practices and energy-saving measures, while also encouraging the utilization of renewable energy sources.  

Through a transparent and competitive evaluation process, the program aims to select 5 media projects, with a maximum budget of up to 20,000 USD each.  

The Applicant’s Guidelines describes the context, the eligible funding areas, the application conditions, the rules and procedures for submitting project proposals, the evaluation and selection criteria.   

The total budget available for this call for proposal is up to USD 100,000.00

The proposals are expected to start from October 2023 and be implemented for a period of 3 months. The implementation of the Partnership Agreement to be signed under this CFP is expected to be completed not later than end January 15, 2024.

The deadline for proposals submission is 27 September, 2023; Time: 18:00 pm, Moldova local time, GMT+2.
